Draft — not a claim of legal compliance. The owner must confirm the deployed host’s practices, identify the site operator and a working privacy contact, and review the policy for the regions served. This draft reflects the current deployment, including Amazon affiliate links. Updated: October 30, 2026.
What this site collects
The application has no user accounts, login, payments, contact forms, or backend database. It does not ask you to submit your name, email address, or other personal details. Lesson answers are evaluated in your browser and are not sent to an application server.
Optional progress on your device
The tutorial offers an unchecked “Remember my progress” option. If you enable it, your browser stores a small record under learn-scopa-progress-v1 in localStorage. It contains lesson and step numbers, passed step IDs, completed lesson IDs, and a format version. It does not contain your name or an identifier shared with the site owner.
This record stays in that browser profile until you clear it. It does not sync across devices. To delete it, turn off “Remember my progress” in the tutorial, or clear this site’s browser storage. “Restart all lessons” resets your tutorial record; if saving remains enabled, a new empty progress record replaces it. Without saving, progress lasts only for the current page session.
LocalStorage may be blocked or unavailable. The tutorial continues to work in that case. Other browser extensions, device users, or browser-sync behavior are outside the application’s control.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The default application does not set cookies or load analytics, advertising scripts, tracking pixels, or a consent platform. Fonts and card artwork are served with the site rather than fetched from a third-party font service. There are no enabled AdSense ad placements in this release.
Advertising configuration exists for a future owner-reviewed setup. Before enabling it, the owner must review the resulting data processing, update this policy, and implement an appropriate consent-management platform where needed. This site does not include a simulated consent banner.
Hosting requests
Your browser must send ordinary web requests to the hosting provider to load pages, fonts, and scripts. Such requests can include an IP address, browser information, requested address, and request time. The application does not create its own request logs. The provider may process request information for delivery, security, and its own operational purposes.
This deployment uses GitHub Pages. The source also supports Cloudflare Pages as an alternative host. Actual provider settings, request-data handling, and retention must be reviewed by the owner for the deployed host. No retention period is asserted here without that review.
External links and Amazon affiliate recommendations
Links to reference material take you to other websites, which have their own policies. The Italian card guide includes paid affiliate links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
When you choose “View on Amazon,” Amazon opens in a new tab. The link includes the Associates tracking ID learnscopa-20, which identifies Learn Scopa for referral attribution. The site does not load an Amazon widget, tracking pixel, or advertising script when you read a recommendation.
Amazon handles its own cookies, account information, orders, and payments under Amazon’s Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab). Learn Scopa does not process your Amazon orders or payment details. You can read all lessons and guides without following a shopping link.
Operator and privacy requests
Owner action before launch: identify the legal site operator and add a working privacy contact here. No contact address has been invented. Because optional tutorial data resides in your browser, you can erase that record directly through the tutorial controls or your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
Review this page whenever hosting, local storage, monetization, or other integrations change. A public release should show the date of the latest owner-approved revision and describe the deployed behavior accurately.
